Billie Buck

Billie Buck is a young, passionate, driven designer with a flair for hand lettered typography and vintage style illustrations. If you've been to a show at Antone's, Hotel Vegas, the Far-Out Lounge or Hole in the Wall in the past few years, you've probably seen one of Billie Buck's posters. Buck's work continues the legacy of the Austin psychedelic poster artists from the '70s and '80s like Jim Franklin, Michael Priest, Guy Juke, Ken Featherston, Kerry Awn and Gilbert Shelton. Buck is also the lead singer and sax player of Sailor Poon, an unapologetically raunchy feminist punk band.
