This event poster commemorates a very special only-of-its’-kind event by AUSPOP held on May 19th, 2024, which celebrated the amazing poster art of this star-studded cast: Renowned Dillo Art Squad artists Danny Garrett and Guy Juke, who were a part of Austin’s AWHQ heyday in the 70’s, as well as the legendary Billy Perkins, Mishka Westell, Billie Buck, Fez Moreno, Taylor Rushing and Brad Bond, who represent Austin poster art from the 80’s to present!
Held at the historic Sagebrush club on South Congress, the poster art itself is compiled by Billie Buck, and includes a representation of all the artists’ styles who are part of the show. The show even included an appearance by the Armadillo Man himself, Jim Franklin!
